Town Hall agenda is set

The agenda for the August 17th event from 1 to 3pm (Eastern) includes:

Marcia Au , IPLA Vice President, who will serve as moderator
Sarah Later, Legislative Committee Co-Chair, will address the group
Speaker Larry DeBoer, a Purdue University Ag Economics Professor, will address the group on the effects of tax caps. Larry is one of the foremost experts on the subject of property tax assessment and he can be viewed in this YouTube video.

In addition, the sites will break into their individual groups to discuss these important issues:
Issue 1: Developing talking points on property tax caps as they relate to public libraries.
Issue 2: Legislative Committee – What do you think is the most important legislative issue for IN libraries at this time?
The day will end as the groups come back together to discuss their findings.
